The Lincoln Charters Project

The ‘Lincoln Charters Project’ is a partnership between the University of Lincoln, UK, and the City of Lincoln Council (University of Lincoln, 2018). The City of Lincoln holds a rare collection of royal charters that date back to the 12th century and span nearly 400 years. The precious documents include important records from the reigns of 25 kings, including King John, King Richard II and King Henry V.
